Rod Zero 7 Record.
Was it really in 2001 when we discovered Zero 7? The album was called Simple things and the best track was called Destiny. I was in love with this track and Simple Things. I played it and played it. Then, was thrilled when in 2004 Zero 7 brought out, When it Falls. Im very much into Chill but as in all genres there is so much rubbish trying to jump on the band wagon but Zero 7 have that somthing extra which makes you want to listen again and again.
After the second album I forgot all about them as you do when the novelty runs out and other music takes your interest. It doesnt help that the next album came out in 2006 and by then I had moved on. But it just goes to show just because the album or artist is not “cool ” it does not mean that they are producing crap. Sure some of the tracks can get bland but there are still gems to be had which make sit all worth while.
Listening to this Zero 7 Best of I didnt even realize that they have a lady singer. I get so out of touch. The tracks are taken from
I paticularly like . When a best of come out after four albums it makes you a bit suspicous in terms of the group are breaking up or even worse they will not be producing any more music. We shall have to see.
